1 - تؤكد من جديد طلبها إلى جميع الدول الموقعة على اتفاقية حظر استحداث وإنتاج وتكديس الأسلحة البكتريولوجية (البيولوجية) والسمية وتدمير تلك الأسلحة(1) ولم تصدق عليها أن تفعل ذلك دون تأخير، وتهيب بالدول التي لم توقع على الاتفاقية أن تصبح أطرافا فيها في موعد مبكر فتسهم بذلك في تحقيق الانضمام إلى الاتفاقية على نطاق عالمي؛

The third preambular paragraph of this resolution states: " Reaffirming its call upon all signatory States that have not yet ratified the Convention to do so without delay, and calling upon those States that have not signed the Convention to become parties thereto at the earliest possible date, thus contributing to the achievement of universal adherence to the Convention " .
