Mexico is convinced that, as noted in the United Nations study on disarmament and non-proliferation education (A/57/124 of 30 August 2002) prepared by a Group of Governmental Experts headed by Ambassador Miguel Marín-Bosch, there has never been a greater need for education in the areas of disarmament and non-proliferation, especially with regard to weapons of mass destruction.
