35. In February 1995, UNHCR and the Organization of African Unity (OAU) organized the Regional Conference on Assistance to Refugees and Displaced Persons in the Great Lakes Region, which was held at Bujumbura.
٣٥ - وفي شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٥، نظمت مفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين ومنظمة الوحدة الافريقية المؤتمر اﻹقليمي المعني بتقديم المساعدة الى اللاجئين والمشردين في منطقة البحيرات الكبرى، الذي عقد في بوجمبورا.

In view of the timeline envisaged for the finalization of the poverty reduction strategy paper process, the Government developed a one-year bridging emergency programme for 2006, which was presented to a donor conference held at Bujumbura on 28 February.
