1061. I attended the thirty-third ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of OAU, held at Yaoundé in July 1996.

Welcomes the creation of a mechanism for the promotion, maintenance and consolidation of peace and security in Central Africa, to be known as the Council for Peace and Security in Central Africa, by the summit Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Central African countries, held at Yaoundé on 25 February 1999, and requests the Secretary-General to give his full support to the effective realization of that important mechanism;

We welcome the Declaration and Plan of Action on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Africa, adopted by the thirty-second ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity, held at Yaoundé, Cameroon, in July 1996, and call upon all member States to implement it at the national level.
٥١ - نرحب بالاعلان وخطة العمل المتعلقين بتعاطي المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها ، اللذين اعتمدتهما الدورة العادية الثانية والثلاثين لجمعية رؤساء دول وحكومات منظمة الوحدة الافريقية ، التي عقدت في ياوندي ، الكاميرون في تموز/يوليه ٦٩٩١ ، ونهيب بجميع الدول اﻷعضاء أن تنفذهما على الصعيد الوطني .

8. From 26 to 30 October 1998, the Centre also provided substantive and organizational support to the tenth ministerial meeting of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, held at Yaoundé.
٨ - ومن ٢٦ إلى ٣٠ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٨ قدم المركز كذلك دعما فنيا وتنظيميا إلى الاجتماع الوزاري العاشر للجنة الاستشارية الدائمة لﻷمم المتحدة المعنية بقضايا اﻷمن في أفريقيا الوسطى، المنعقد في ياوندي.

63. Investment promotion activities within the framework of the Decade included the Investment Forum for Central African States held at Yaoundé, Cameroon, in November.
٦٣ - وشملت أنشطة ترويج الاستثمار التي تم الاضطلاع بها في اطار العقد محفل الاستثمار لدول أفريقيا الوسطى المعقود في ياوندي بالكاميرون في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر.
