Sura 5, verse 60 of the Holy Koran reads,
السورة الخامسة، الآية 60 من القرآن الكريم تقول:

Very recently the world witnessed an abhorrent and inhumane act of burning the Holy Koran.
وفي الآونة الأخيرة، شهد العالم عملا مشيناً ولا إنسانياً بحرق القرآن الكريم.

The Holy Koran is the Divine Book and the eternal miracle of the Prophet of Islam.
القرآن الكريم كتاب مقدس، وهو المعجزة الخالدة لنبي الإسلام.

Reportedly, Islamists blocked the traffic and demanded the arrest of the children accused of having desecrated the Holy Koran.
وقيل إن إسلاميين أوقفوا حركة المرور وطالبوا بإلقاء القبض على الأطفال المتهمين بتدنيس القرآن الكريم.

The precepts of Islam are therefore applicable in certain matters, including inheritance, which is governed by the Holy Koran.

I should like to conclude with a verse from the Holy Koran:
ونختم سيدي الرئيس بما جاء في القرآن الكريم بقوله تعالى:

The Holy Koran says that Jerusalem is the eternal spiritual capital of all Muslims and of all believers throughout the world.
ويقول القرآن الكريم إن القدس هي العاصمة الروحية اﻷبدية لجميع المسلمين ولكل المؤمنين في كل أرجاء العالم.

We must, finally, explain that the Holy Koran advocates peace and not violence or war.
أخيرا، يجب علينا أن نوضح أنّ القرآن الكريم ينادي بالسلام، وليس بالعنف أو الحرب.

I wish to begin my statement by reciting some verses of the Holy Koran that are relevant to the subject of our deliberations today.
وأود أن أبدأ بياني بتلاوة بعض الآيات من القرآن الكريم التي تتعلق بموضوع مداولاتنا اليوم.

The Holy Koran contains that commandment by God.
وينص القرآن الكريم على ذلك الأمر من الله عز وجل.

In the Holy Koran and in the Sunna, interreligious dialogue and the right of every individual to freedom of thought and religion are unequivocally affirmed.
ويؤكد القرآن الكريم والسنة، على نحو لا لبس فيه، على الحوار بين الديانات وعلى حق كل فرد أن يتمتع بحرية الفكر والدين.

In late 2004, the Muslim leadership of Uzbekistan, along with the Republican Society for the Blind, published the Holy Koran in braille.
وفي أواخر عام 2004 أصدرت زعامة المسلمين في أوزبكستان، بالتعاون مع الجمعية الجمهورية للمكفوفين، طبعة من القرآن الكريم بلغة البريل.

As the chairman of the delegation of Pakistan noted, the Holy Koran says that ethnic diversity is only for the sake of identity.
وكما أشار رئيس وفد باكستان، يقول القرآن الكريم ما معناه إن التنوع العرقي ما كان إلا من أجل التعارف.

It would be appreciated if the room was carpeted and contained bookshelves for copies of the Holy Koran in various languages.
وسيكون من دواعي التقدير لوغطيت الغرفة بالسجاد واحتوت على رفوف لنسخ من القرآن الكريم بمختلف اللغات.

In 1977, President Sadat came to Israel's Knesset and quoted this verse from the Holy Koran:
في عام 1977، حضر الرئيس السادات إلى الكنيست الإسرائيلي واقتبس السورة التالية من القرآن الكريم:

Their only crime... was to follow the laws of the Holy Koran, Allah.
جريمتهم الوحيدة كانت تتبع أوامر القرآن الكريم يا إلهي

Allah says in the Holy Koran:
قال الله تعالى في محكم كتابه الكريم:

The Almighty has said: " O mankind, We have created you male and female, and appointed you races and tribes, that you may know one another " (The Holy Koran, XLIX:13).
قال الله تعالى ((يا أيها الناس إنا خلقناكم من ذكر وأنثى وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا)) الحجرات (13).

63.
