The Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, as well as all human rights treaty bodies, should consider and discuss the Guidelines with a view to incorporating relevant aspects of the Guidelines within their respective mandates.
٤٢- وينبغي للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات وكذلك جميع الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان أن تبحث وتناقش المبادئ التوجيهية بهدف إدماج الجوانب ذات الصلة من المبادئ التوجيهية في ولاية كل منها.

It was not true that the Government had refused to provide information: rather, no account had been taken of the information it had furnished, and allegations had been formulated despite the Government's refutations. Those same allegations had been considered and deemed to be unfounded by other human rights bodies, notably the Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities.

United Nations bodies and States parties must take steps to ensure equal representation of women and men, as well as gender-trained individuals, on the committees of experts that monitor the implementation of treaties, as well as among the independent experts and working groups of the Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities.
١١ - وعلى هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة والدول اﻷطراف أن تتخذ خطوات لضمان تمثيل المرأة والرجل على قدم المساواة، فضلا عن اﻷفراد المدربين على مراعاة اعتبارات الجنس، في لجان الخبراء التي ترصد تنفيذ المعاهدات، وكذلك فيما بين الخبراء المستقلين وأفرقة عمل لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات.

22. At their sixth meeting, in September 1995, the chairpersons recommended that treaty bodies increasingly consult United Nations organs and bodies, including special rapporteurs of the Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, exchange information and utilize existing expertise in order to detect and respond appropriately to situations of massive violations of human rights.
٢٢- وأوصى الرؤساء، في اجتماعهم السادس، المعقود في تموز/يوليه ٥٩٩١، بإجراء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات مزيدا من المشاورات مع أجهزة وهيئات اﻷمم المتحدة بما في ذلك المقرران الخاصّان للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات، وبتبادل المعلومات واﻹفادة من الخبرات القائمة بغية الكشف عن حالات انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان التي تحدث على نطاق واسع والتصدي لها على النحو الملائم.

5. Pursuant to those resolutions, the Secretary-General, by a communication dated 13 June 1994, invited States, interested intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, specialized agencies, special rapporteurs and relevant working groups of the Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities to submit their contributions to the Centre for Human Rights by 1 August 1994.
٥- وعملا بهذين القرارين دعا اﻷمين العام في رسالة مؤرخة في ٣١ حزيران/يونيه ٤٩٩١ كل من يهمه اﻷمر من الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والوكالات المتخصصة والمقررين الخاصين واﻷفرقة العاملة ذات الصلة التابعة للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات إلى تقديم مساهماتها إلى مركز حقوق اﻹنسان في موعد غايته ١ آب/أغسطس ٤٩٩١.

٠١ - وعلى هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة والدول اﻷطراف أن تتخذ خطوات لضمان تمثيل المرأة والرجل على قدم المساواة، فضلا عن اﻷفراد المدربين على مراعاة اعتبارات الجنس، في لجان الخبراء التي ترصد تنفيذ المعاهدات، وكذلك فيما بين الخبراء المستقلين وأفرقة عمل لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات.

The Commission on Human Rights and the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities have closely followed the establishment, in accordance with World Health Assembly resolution WHA146.37 and WHO Executive Board resolution EB93.R5, of a joint United Nations programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), which is scheduled to be fully functional on 1 January 1996.
٤- وفقا لقرار جمعية الصحة العالمية )WHA 146.37( وقرار المجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة الصحة العالمية )EB93.R5(، قامت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات عن كثب بإنشاء برنامج مشترك لﻷمم المتحدة بشأن فيروس نقص المناعة البشري/اﻹيدز، تقرر أن يبدأ تشغيله بصورة كاملة يوم ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ٦٩٩١.
