Sudan continued to cooperate with all international human rights mechanisms, in particular the Human Rights Council, as evidenced by the presence of the Independent Expert on human rights in Sudan at the recent session of the Council in Geneva.
ويواصل السودان تعاونه مع جميع الآليات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان، ولا سيما مجلس حقوق الإنسان، كما يتضح من وجود الخبير المستقل المعني بحالة حقوق الإنسان في السودان في الدورة الأخيرة للمجلس في جنيف.

22. His Government had established institutional and legislative frameworks and put in place strategies, plans and programmes to promote human rights in Sudan.
22 - وأضاف أن حكومته قد وضعت أطراً مؤسسية وتشريعية وصاغت استراتيجيات وخططاً وبرامج لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان في السودان.

55. Bangladesh considered that peace, security, stability and development are key to ensuring human rights in Sudan and hoped that the international community would support the peace process.
55- واعتبرت بنغلاديش أن السلام والأمن والاستقرار والتنمية هي المفتاح لضمان حقوق الإنسان في السودان وأعربت عن أملها في أن يدعم المجتمع الدولي عملية السلام.

Furthermore, by extending the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Sudan in 2007, the international community had clearly expressed its concern at the deterioration of the situation.

101. Nevertheless, there are strong guarantees for the protection of human rights in Sudan that can be summarized as follows:

100. The concern for respect and observation of human rights in Sudan stems from the fact that, globally speaking, those rights are in harmony with the moral heritage and social conduct of the Sudanese people who are well-known for their tolerance and inherent rejection of injustice, violence and cruelty.
100- ينبغ الاهتمام باحترام ورعاية حقوق الإنسان في السودان من حقيقة أن هذه الحقوق في مجملها تنسجم مع الإرث الأخلاقي والسلوك الاجتماعي للشعب السوداني الذي اشتهر بتسامحه ورفضه الغريزي للظلم والعنف والقسوة.

Expressing its commendation and appreciation for the efforts of the Republic of Sudan in raising the ideals of human rights, which have crowned its efforts to drop the resolution on the situation of the human rights in Sudan at the 53rd Session of the Human Rights Commission in Geneva on 16.4.2003.
وإذ يعرب عن إشادته وتقديره لجهود حكومة جمهورية السودان في إعلاء قيم حقوق الإنسان، الأمر الذي توج جهودها بإسقاط القرار الخاص بحالة حقوق الإنسان في السودان في الجلسة (53) بتاريخ 16/4/2003م للجنة حقوق الإنسان في جنيف.
