In addition, the scope of the Convention and the Protocols had been extended to armed conflicts of a non-international character, while the Protocol relating to explosive remnants of war had enriched the humanitarian rules laid down in the Convention.

١١ - تحث السلطات اﻷفغانية على أن توفر وسائل انتصاف مؤثرة وفعالة لضحايا الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق اﻹنسان والقواعد اﻹنسانية المقبولة، وتقديم مرتكبي هذه الانتهاكات للمحاكمة وفقا للمعايير المقبولة دوليا؛

10. Urges all the Afghan parties to provide efficient and effective remedies to the victims of grave violations of human rights and of accepted humanitarian rules and to bring their perpetrators to trial in accordance with internationally accepted standards;
٠١ - تحث اﻷطراف اﻷفغانية على أن توفر وسائل انتصاف مؤثرة وفعالة لضحايا الانتهاكات الجسيمة لحقوق اﻹنسان والقواعد اﻹنسانية المقبولة، وتقديم مرتكبي هذه الانتهاكات للمحاكمة وفقا للمعايير المقبولة دوليا؛

Guided by the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenants on Human Rights and accepted humanitarian rules, as set out in the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 and the Additional Protocols thereto of 1977,
إذ تسترشد بميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، واﻹعلان العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان، والعهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق اﻹنسان، والقواعد اﻹنسانية المقبولة، كما هي مبينة في اتفاقيات جنيف المؤرخة ٢١ آب/أغسطس ٩٤٩١ وبروتوكولي عام ٧٧٩١ اﻹضافيين الملحقين بها،

Under the preambular part of the draft resolution, the General Assembly would, inter alia, declare itself convinced of the continuing value of established humanitarian rules relating to armed conflicts and the need to respect and ensure respect for these rules in all circumstances within the scope of relevant international instruments.
وبموجب ديباجة مشروع القرار، تعلن الجمعية العامة، ضمن جملــة أمــور، اقتناعهــا باستمرار قيمة القواعد الانسانية الثابتة المتصلة بالمنازعات المسلحة وبضرورة احترام وضمان احترام هذه القواعد في جميع اﻷحوال في نطاق الصكوك الدولية ذات الصلة.
