The Secretariat, subject to the availability of resources, will analyse the information specified in paragraph 5 of part III of Annex B to the Convention submitted by parties and any other pertinent and credible information available.
6 - تقوم الأمانة رهناً بتوافر الموارد، بتحليل المعلومات المحددة في الفقرة 5 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية المقدمة من الأطراف وأي معلومات أخرى متاحة ذات صلة وموثوق بها.

Parties are requested to use this format to also provide the Secretariat with information on the production and use of PFOS, its salts and PFOSF, as specified in paragraph 5(b) of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

Information on the progress made in building the capacity of countries to transfer safely to reliance on alternatives to PFOS, its salts and PFOSF, as specified in paragraph 5(d) of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

The evaluation shall take place no later than in 2015 and every four years thereafter, in conjunction with a regular meeting of the Conference of the Parties, in accordance with paragraph 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

In response to the above-mentioned request in decision SC-5/8, the Secretariat prepared a draft format for reporting by parties that use and/or produce PFOS, its salts and PFOSF on the progress made in eliminating those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 3 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
5 - استجابة للطلب المشار إليه أعلاه في المقرر ا س- 5/8، أعدت الأمانة مشروع استمارة لإبلاغ الأطراف التي تستخدم و/أو تنتج حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني فيما يتعلق بالتقدم المحرز في القضاء على هذه المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 3 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

By its decision SC-5/8, on exemptions, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to prepare a draft format for reporting by parties that used or produced perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride (PFOSF) on the progress made in eliminating those chemicals in accordance with paragraph 3 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.
4 - وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأمانة، بمقتضى مقرره ا س - 5/8 المتعلق بالإعفاءات، أن تعد مشروع نموذج لتقديم التقارير من جانب الأطراف التي استخدمت أو أنتجت حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOS) وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOSF) عن التقدم المحرز على صعيد القضاء على هذه المواد الكيميائية وفقاً للفقرة 3 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء من الاتفاقية.

To develop a process to enable the Conference of the Parties to evaluate the continued need for PFOS, its salts and PFOSF for the various acceptable purposes and specific exemptions on the basis of available scientific, technical, environmental and economic information and to report on progress in that regard at the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in accordance with paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

Executive summary At its fourth meeting the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention decided that the production and use of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride (PFOSF) should be eliminated by all parties except for the use and production allowed as acceptable purposes and specific exemptions in accordance with Part III of Annex B to the Convention.
قرر مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية ستكهولم في اجتماعه الرابع أنه يتعين على جميع الأطراف وقف إنتاج واستخدام حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOS)، وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني (PFOSF) باستثناء الاستخدام والإنتاج المسموح بهما بوصفهما أغراض مقبولة أو إعفاءات محددة وفقاً للجزء الثالث من المرفق باء بالاتفاقية.

The Secretariat, with advice from relevant experts such as members of the Committee, to prepare a report on the evaluation of the continued need for PFOS, its salts and PFOSF, based on the information on PFOS, its salts and PFOSF and its alternatives specified in paragraph 5 of part III of Annex B to the Convention and any other pertinent and credible information available.
(ب) أن تُعِدّ الأمانة، بمشورة من خبراء ذوي صلة مثل أعضاء اللجنة، تقييماً للحاجة المستمرة لحامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني، استناداً إلى المعلومات بشأن حامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني وبدائلها المحدَّدة في الفقرة 5 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء بالاتفاقية وأية معلومات أخرى متاحة ذات صلة وذات مصداقية.
