In that context, the Board set out to develop a new funding formula, which would realign the Fund with its original mandate to assist victims in a purely humanitarian spirit and prioritize those victimized during emerging human rights situations, while continuing to ensure long-term assistance to previously identified victims.
وفي هذا السياق، شرع المجلس في وضع صيغة جديدة للتمويل، وهو ما من شأنه إعادة مواءمة الصندوق مع ولايته الأصلية المتمثلة في مساعدة الضحايا بروح إنسانية خالصة وإيلاء الأولوية لأولئك الذين يقعون ضحايا أثناء حالات حقوق الإنسان الناشئة، مع الاستمرار في كفالة تقديم المساعدة طويلة الأجل إلى الضحايا الذين سبق تحديدهم.
