2. Also calls upon the administering Power, in cooperation with the territorial Government, to expedite the transfer of land to the people of the Territory and to take the necessary steps to safeguard their property rights;
٢ - تطلب كذلك الى الدولة القائمة باﻹدارة بأن تعمل بالتعاون مع حكومة اﻹقليم على اﻹسراع بنقل اﻷراضي إلى شعب اﻹقليم واتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة لتأمين حقوقهم في امتلاكها؛

1. Calls upon the administering Power, in cooperation with the territorial Government, to consider a review of the residency requirement for those eligible to participate in a genuine exercise of the right to self-determination in the United States Virgin Islands;
١ - تطلب الى الدولة القائمة باﻹدارة أن تبحث بالتعاون مع حكومة اﻹقليم مسألة استعراض شرط اﻹقامة اللازمة للمؤهلين للمشاركة في الممارسة اﻷصيلة لحق تقرير المصير في جزر فرجن التابعة للولايات المتحدة؛

The Assembly reaffirms the responsibility of the administering Power to promote the economic and social development of the Territory and calls upon the administering Power to continue, in cooperation with the territorial Government, to strengthen the economy and to increase its assistance to diversification programmes.
وتؤكد الجمعية من جديد مسؤولية الدولة القائمة باﻹدارة في أن تعزز التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لﻹقليم، وتطلب من الدولة القائمة باﻹدارة أن تواصل بالتعاون مع حكومة اﻹقليم تقوية الاقتصاد وزيادة مساعدتها لبرامج التنويع.

The Assembly urges the administering Power, in cooperation with the territorial Government, to continue to take effective measures to safeguard and guarantee the inalienable right of the people of St. Helena to own and dispose of the natural resources of the Territory, including marine resources, and to establish and maintain control over the future development of those resources.
وتحث الجمعية العامة الدولة القائمة باﻹدارة على أن تواصل بالتعاون مع حكومة اﻹقليم اتخاذ تدابير فعالة من أجل ضمان حقوق شعب جزيرة سانت هيلانة غير القابلة للتصرف في امتلاك الموارد الطبيعية لﻹقليم، بمافي ذلك الموارد البحريـة، والتصرف فيها، وفي إقامة ومواصلة السيطرة على تنمية تلك الموارد في المستقبــل.
