In that regard, we note that the interactive dialogues on the draft text of the treaty on the prevention of the placement of weapons in Outer Space and of the Threat or use of force against outer space objects, submitted by the Russian Federation and China, have provided an opportunity to get a clearer picture of the various views on the prevention of an arms race in outer space agenda.
