165. The Committee recommends that the State party strengthen its efforts to disseminate in a systematic and permanent manner the Convention throughout the country and to raise public awareness, in particular among children themselves and parents, about its principles and provisions.
165- وتوصي اللجنة بأن تعزز الدولة الطرف جهودها من أجل نشر الاتفاقية في جميع أنحاء البلد على نحو منهجي ودائم وإذكاء الوعي بمبادئها وأحكامها، لا سيما في صفوف الأطفال أنفسهم والوالدين.

3 - تحث جميع الدول الأعضاء على تنفيذ خطة العمل لتنفيذ الإعلان الخاص بالمبادئ التوجيهية لخفض الطلب على المخدرات فيما تتخذه من إجراءات خاصة بها على كل من الصعيد الوطني والإقليمي والدولي، وعلى تعزيز جهودها الوطنية لمكافحة تعاطي المخدرات غير المشروعة من جانب سكانها، ولا سيما الأطفال والشباب؛

In section II of its resolution 57/174, the General Assembly urged all Member States to implement the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Declaration on the Guiding Principles of Drug Demand Reduction and to strengthen their national efforts to counter the abuse of illicit drugs among their population, in particular among children and young people.
وحثت الجمعية العامة في الجزء الثاني من قرارها 57/174 جميع الدول الأعضاء على تنفيذ خطة العمل المتعلقة بتنفيذ الاعلان الخاص بالمبادئ التوجيهية لخفض الطلب على المخدرات، وعلى تعزيز جهودها الوطنية لمكافحة اساءة استعمال المخدرات غير المشروعة بين سكانها، ولا سيما الأطفال والشباب.

259. The Committee welcomes the nearly universal enrolment rates in primary school and programmes such as maestros comunitarios, however it is concerned at the relatively high repetition and dropout rates, in particular among children living in poverty, boys and Afrodescendants.

14. In Gaza, during the eight-day escalation of violence that began on 14 November 2012, hundreds of Palestinians were injured or killed, thousands of houses and refugee shelters were destroyed or sustained damage, and incidences of psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder increased dramatically, in particular among children.
14 - وفي قطاع غزة، وخلال فترة تصعيد العنف التي دامت ثمانية أيام ابتداء من 14 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2012، قُتل وجُرح المئات من الفلسطينيين، ودُمّرت الآلاف من البيوت ومآوي اللاجئين أو لحقت بها أضرار، وارتفعت حالات الاضطرابات النفسية والناجمة عن الإجهاد اللاحق للإصابة، ولا سيما لدى الأطفال.

(a) The high rates of chronic malnutrition (stunting) and wasting (acute malnutrition) among children, in particular among children under 5 years of age, which are the second highest rates worldwide, and at the lack of an effective mechanism to assess the effectiveness of the campaigns being conducted to raise awareness of the risks of malnutrition and steps taken to promote good practices in feeding infants and young children;
(أ) ارتفاع معدلات سوء التغذية المُزمن (التقزُّم) والهزال (سوء التغذية الحاد)، لا سيما بين الأطفال دون سن الخامسة، وهو ثاني أعلى معدَّل في العالم، وإزاء عدم وجود آلية فعالة لتقييم فعالية الحملات التي يجري تنفيذها لإذكاء الوعي بمخاطر سوء التغذية والخطوات المتخذة لتشجيع الممارسات الجيدة في تغذية الرُّضع والأطفال الصِغار؛

12. The Committee recommends that the State party ensure that the principles and provisions of the Optional Protocol are widely disseminated among the general public and in particular among children.
12- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بكفالة نشر مبادئ البروتوكول الاختياري وأحكامه على نطاق واسع في أوساط عامة الجمهور، ولا سيما في أوساط الأطفال.

Awareness-raising campaigns should be launched, in particular among children, parents and professionals working with and for children, on the need for increased attention to these principles.
وينبغي الاضطلاع بحملات للتوعية وخاصة بين اﻷطفال واﻵباء واﻷمهات والمهنيين العاملين مع اﻷطفال ومن أجلهم، بشأن الحاجة إلى زيادة الاهتمام بهذه المبادئ.

1392. While acknowledging the measures taken to improve the health of children, in particular initiatives related to the reduction of infant mortality, the Committee remains concerned about the persistence of regional disparities in access to health care and of high rates of malnutrition of children, especially in rural and remote areas and in particular among children belonging to indigenous groups.
1392- تنوه اللجنة بما تم اتخاذه من تدابير لتحسين صحة الطفل، وبخاصة المبادرات المتعلقة بخفض معدل وفيات الرضع، إلا أنها ما زالت تشعر بالقلق إزاء استمرار الفوارق الإقليمية في الحصول على الرعاية الصحية، وإزاء ارتفاع معدلات سوء تغذية الأطفال، وبخاصة في المناطق الريفية والنائية، وفيما بين الأطفال الذين ينتمون إلى مجموعات السكان الأصليين.
