The Russian Federation commended the regional economic commissions -- in particular the Economic Commission for Europe and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific -- alongside relevant specialized agencies of the United Nations system, notably the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), on their efforts to implement the action lines of the Tunis Agenda for the Information Society.
