57. As a result of the review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the United Nations Peace Forces (A/51/305), deficiencies had been detected in the organization of operations and in financial management.
٥٧ - واستأنف قائلا إن استعراض هياكل اﻹدارة في عنصر الموظفين المدنيين بقوات السلام التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة (A/51/305) قد أتاح كشف عدد كبير من أوجه القصور على مستوى تنظيم العمليات واﻹدارة المالية فيها.

Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 49/228 of 23 December 1994, I have the honour to transmit for the attention of the General Assembly the annexed report, conveyed to me by the Under-Secretary-General for Internal Oversight Services, on the review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the United Nations Peace Forces (UNPF).

The review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the United Nations Peace Forces (UNPF) (A/51/305) had revealed a lack of organizational control and deficiencies in management arrangements which had led to financial problems.
ولقد تبين من استعراض هيكل اﻹدارة في عنصر الموظفين المدنيين بقوات السلام التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة )A/51/305( أن هناك افتقار إلى المراقبة التنظيمية وعيوب في ترتيبات اﻹدارة أدت إلى مشاكل مالية.

Requests the Secretary-General to entrust the Office of Internal Oversight Services with undertaking an independent and thorough review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the Force, and to report thereon to the General Assembly before the end of its resumed forty-ninth session;
٨ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يعهد إلى مكتب المراقبة الداخلية بإجراء استعراض مستقل شامل يتناول هيكل الادارة في عنصر الموظفين المدنيين بالقوة، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى الجمعية العامة قبل نهاية دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين المستأنفة؛

The General Assembly, in its resolution 49/228 of 2 December 1994, requested that the Office of Internal Oversight Services conduct an independent and thorough review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the United Nations Peace Forces (UNPF) which at that time, was called the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR).
١ - طلبت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها ٤٩/٢٢٨ المؤرخ ٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤، من مكتب المراقبة الداخلية أن يقوم بإجراء استعراض مستقل شامل يتناول هيكل اﻹدارة في عنصر الموظفين المدنيين بقوات السلام التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة، التي كانت تسمى آنذاك قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية (UNPROFOR).

6. Endorses the recommendations made by the Office of Internal Oversight Services in its report on the review of the management structure in the civilian staff component of the United Nations Peace Forces, 3/ and requests the Secretary-General to ensure that those recommendations are fully taken into account in the future planning of United Nations peacekeeping missions;
٦ - تقر التوصيات التي قدمها مكتب خدمات المراقبة الداخلية في تقريره عن استعراض هيكل اﻹدارة في عنصر الموظفين المدنيين بقوات السلام التابعة لﻷمم المتحدة)٣(، وتطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يكفل أخذ هذه التوصيات تماما في الحسبان عند تخطيط بعثات اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام مستقبلا؛

6.
