The Meeting reviewed progress in the development of transit systems in land-locked and transit developing countries with a view to exploring the possibility of formulating specific action-oriented measures, taking into account the results of consultations between individual land-locked countries and their transit neighbours.
واستعرض الاجتماع التقدم المحرز في تطوير نظم المرور العابر في البلدان غير الساحلية النامية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية بغية استكشاف إمكانية وضع تدابير محددة ذات توجه عملي، مع مراعاة نتائج المشاورات بين فرادى البلدان غير الساحلية وجاراتها من بلدان المرور العابر.

The terms of reference of the Meeting as set out in this resolution are to review progress in the development of transit systems in the land-locked and transit developing countries, including sectoral aspects, as well as transit transporting costs, with a view to exploring the possibility of formulating action-oriented measures.
واختصاصات الاجتماع حسبما ترد في هذا القرار هي استعراض التقدم المحرز في تطوير نظم المرور العابر في البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية، بما في ذلك الجوانب القطاعية وكذلك تكاليف النقل العابر، بغية استكشاف إمكانية وضع التدابير العملية اللازمة.

2. The Meeting had before it for its consideration a report prepared by the UNCTAD secretariat - Review of the progress in the development of transit systems and proposals for future action (TD/B/LDC/AC.1/10).
٢- وقد عرض على الاجتماع تقرير أعدته أمانة اﻷونكتاد للنظر فيه، وهو التقرير المعنون استعراض التقدم المحرز في تطوير نظم المرور العابر ومقترحات للعمل المقبل (TD/B/LDC/AC.1/10).

3. Pursuant to paragraph 11 of General Assembly resolution 50/97, the Meeting is to review progress in the development of transit systems in the land-locked and transit developing countries with a view to exploring the possibility of formulating specific action-oriented measures.
٣- عملاً بالفقرة ١١ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٠٥/٧٩، سيستعرض الاجتماع التقدم المحرز في تطوير نظم المرور العابر في البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية بغية استكشاف إمكانية وضع تدابير محددة عملية المنحى.
