In May 2010, the Special Representative participated in the Global Conference on Child Labour held in The Hague, which marked the tenth anniversary of the entry into force of ILO Convention No. 182 on the Worst Forms of Child Labour, and it adopted a road map for achieving their elimination by 2016.
