Recognizing that millions of children in the Islamic Countries suffer as a result of diseases from which they may be protected;

102. The Conference took note of the programmes and the deliberations held during the Second Meeting of the Consultative Council for the Implementation of the Strategy of Development of Science and Technology in the Islamic Countries.
أخذ المؤتمر علما بالبرامج والمناقشات التي دارت خلال الاجتماع الثاني للمجلس الاستشاري لتنفيذ استراتيجية تطوير العلوم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان الإسلامية.

5 - يؤكد على أهمية تطبيق الاستراتيجية الخاصة بتطوير العلوم والتكنولوجيا وآلياتها في البلدان الإسلامية من أجل تقدم الأمة الإسلامية ونهضتها ورقيها.

19. We consider it important to intensify efforts on full implementation of the initiatives to establish a common market and a free trade zone in the Islamic Countries and deem it necessary to encourage the development of trade between the OIC Member States.
19 - نرى من المهم تكثيف الجهود للتنفيذ الكامل لمبادرات إقامة سوق مشتركة ومنطقة تجارة حرة في البلدان الإسلامية ونعتبر أن من الضروري تشجيع تنمية التجارة بين الدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي.

2. Highly appreciates the successful efforts of ISESCO and COMSTECH in preparing the final document of the implementation mechanisms of the strategy for the development of science and technology in the Islamic Countries,
2 - يقدر عاليا للإيسيسكو والكومستيك جهودهما الموفقة في إعداد الوثيقة الختامية الخاصة بآليات تنفيذ استراتيجية تطوير العلوم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان الإسلامية.

19. Calls for the intensification of this cooperation with emphasis on the problem of the remnants of World War II and other wars in the Islamic Countries, which impedes development of their societies, and calls on the international community to address the problem immediately and take the necessary measures to remove land mines and war remnants in countries concerned.
19 - يدعو إلى توسيع هذا التعاون مع التركيز على مشكلة مخلفات الحرب العالمية الثانية وغيرها من الحروب في البلدان الإسلامية مما يعيق تنمية مجتمعاتها، كما يدعو المجتمع الدولي إلى تناول المشكلة فورا مع اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لإزالة الألغام الأرضية ومخلفات الحروب في البلدان المعنية.

2. Welcomes the decision of the Second Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research to entrust ISESCO with supervising and seeing to the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Science and Technology in the Islamic Countries, and the follow-up of its implementation with the authorities in Member States.
2 - يرحب بالقرار الصادر عن المؤتمر الإسلامي الأول لوزراء التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الذي يقضي بتكليف الإيسيسكو بمهمة السهر والإشراف على تنفيذ استراتيجية تطوير العلوم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان الإسلامية ومتابعة تنفيذها مع السلطات المعنية في الدول الأعضاء.

4. Calls on Member States to adopt the general directions of the Strategy for the Development of Science and Technology in the Islamic Countries and to take the necessary organizational measures regarding implementation of the Strategy within the framework of their national policies in the fields of science and technology.
4 - يدعو الدول الأعضاء إلى اعتماد التوجيهات العامة لإستراتيجية تطوير العلوم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان الإسلامية واتخاذ التدابير التنظيمية اللازمة بشأن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية ضمن إطار سياساتها الوطنية في المجالات العلمية والتكنولوجية.

28. We express our resolve to vigorously pursue social and economic development in the Islamic Countries through eradication of poverty and increasing and promoting investment and trade.
28 - نعرب عن عزمنا المتواصل على أن نسعى بحزم إلى تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في الدول الإسلامية من خلال القضاء على الفقر وزيادة وتعزيز الاستثمار والتجارة.
