The purpose of the final report will be to evaluate, in the light of the implementation of the Convention, the strengths and weaknesses of the mechanisms of the State under review, to present the good practices in combating corruption adopted by that State and to identify priorities with a view to assisting in implementing the Convention more effectively, in particular through the provision of technical assistance.

Also, the Committee has recalled the importance of the universality and interdependence of human rights, and decided to monitor the implementation of the right to housing of children in the light of the implementation of general principles of the Convention, namely the right to non-discrimination (art. 2), the best interest of the child (art. 3), the right to life (art. 6) and the right to participation (art. 12).
وأشارت اللجنة أيضاً الى أهمية عالمية حقوق اﻹنسان وترابطها، وقررت رصد تنفيذ حق اﻷطفال في المسكن في ضوء تنفيذ المبادئ العامة المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية، ألا وهي الحق في عدم التمييز )المادة ٢(، ومصالح الطفل الفضلى )المادة ٣(، والحق في الحياة )المادة ٦( والحق في المشاركة )المادة ٢١(.
