13. Calls upon States and international and non-governmental organizations to mobilize all necessary resources, support and efforts to realize the goals, strategic objectives and actions set out in the Platform for Action of the Fourth World Conference on Women;
١٣ - تطلب إلى الدول والمنظمات الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية أن تقوم بتعبئة جميع ما يلزم من موارد ودعم وجهود لبلوغ اﻷهداف، والمقاصد الاستراتيجية واﻹجراءات المنصوص عليها في منهاج عمل المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة؛

Accordingly, the word " gender " as used in the Platform for Action of the Fourth World Conference on Women was intended to be interpreted and understood as it was in ordinary, generally accepted usage.
وبناء على ذلك، فإن المقصود هو أن يُفسر تعبير " نوع الجنس " الوارد في منهاج عمل المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة وأن يُفهم كما هو مفسر ومفهوم في الاستخدام العادي المقبول عموما.

The Egyptian delegation would like to register the fact that its understanding of the texts included in the Platform for Action of the Fourth World Conference on Women that refer to sexual and reproductive relations rests on the basis that these relations are within the framework of a marital bond and that the family is understood to be the basic unit of society.
ويود وفد مصر أن يسجل أن فهمه للنصوص الواردة في منهاج عمل المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة حول العلاقات الجنسية واﻹنجابية ينصرف إلى أن هذه العلاقات تتم في إطار رابطة الزوجية، وفي إطار اﻷسرة باعتبارها الخلية اﻷساسية للمجتمع.

We affirm that the promotion of gender equality from a human rights perspective and the contributions and empowerment of women and girls are fundamental, as enshrined in the Platform for Action of the Fourth World Conference on Women, and international laws are necessary not only to meet the Goals but also to contribute to and strengthen the post-2015 development agenda.
