7. Having examined the information contained in the Secretary-General's memorandum as well as the documentation received from States Parties to the Convention, the Committee noted that as of 7 December 2006:

The Commission appreciated the provision of background information on the drafting guidelines contained in the Secretary-General's memorandum (see para. 121 above), which aimed to achieve the page limits for reports of subsidiary bodies as discussed above.
