13. Against this background I now set out some of the specific atrocities which have recently been perpetrated in the territories controlled by the Government and rebels.

Congratulates the United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations on the measures and programmes adopted with a view to lending support and assistance to women and girls in the territories controlled by Afghan armed groups and strongly encourages them to continue their efforts despite the difficulties encountered;
6- تهنئ مؤسسات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات غير الحكومية على ما اتخذته من تدابير ووضعته من برامج من أجل تقديم الدعم والمساعدة للنساء والفتيات في الأراضي التي تسيطر عليها الجماعات الأفغانية المسلحة، وتشجع تلك المؤسسات والمنظمات تشجيعاً قوياً على مواصلة جهودها على الرغم من الصعوبات التي تعترضها؛
