وتشير اللجنة في هذا الصدد إلى قرار الجمعية العامة 57/194 المؤرخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002 والذي حثت فيه الجمعية العامة بقوة الدول الأطراف على التعجيل باتخاذ إجراءاتها الداخلية للتصديق على تعديل الاتفاقية وعلى إخطار الأمين العام كتابة على وجه السرعة بموافقتها على التعديل.

The Secretary-General also wishes to recall resolution 59/313, in which the Assembly strongly urged all officers presiding over meetings of the Assembly to start such meetings on time.
ويود الأمين العام أيضا أن يشير إلى القرار 59/313، الذي حثت فيه الجمعية العامة بقوة جميع أعضاء المكتب الذين يترأسون جلسات الجمعية العامة على أن يفتتحوا هذه الجلسات في الوقت المحدد.

In this connection, the Committee cites General Assembly resolutions 61/148, 63/243, 65/200 and 67/156, in which the Assembly strongly urged States parties to accelerate their national ratification procedures with regard to the amendment to the Convention concerning the financing of the Committee and to notify the Secretary-General expeditiously in writing of their agreement to the amendment.
وفي هذا الصدد، تذكر اللجنة قرارات الجمعية العامة 61/148 و63/243 و65/200 و67/156 التي حثت فيها الجمعية العامة بقوة الدول الأطراف على التعجيل بإجراءات التصديق الوطنية المتصلة بتعديل الاتفاقية فيما يتعلق بتمويل اللجنة، وإخطار الأمين العام كتابة وعلى وجه السرعة بموافقتها على التعديل.

In this connection, the Committee recalls General Assembly resolutions 61/148, 63/243 and 65/200, in which the Assembly strongly urged States parties to accelerate their domestic ratification procedures with regard to the amendment concerning the financing of the Committee and to notify the Secretary-General expeditiously, in writing, of their agreement to the amendment.
وفي هذا الصدد، تشير اللجنة إلى قرارات الجمعية العامة 61/148 و63/243 و65/200، التي حثت فيها الجمعية العامة بقوة الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية على التعجيل باتخاذ ﺇﺟـﺮﺍﺀﺍﺕ ﺩﺍﺧﻠﻴـﺔ ﻟﻠﺘﺼﺪﻳﻖ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺗﻌﺪﻳﻞ الاتفاقية ﺍﳌﺘﻌﻠﻖ ﺑﺘﻤﻮﻳـﻞ ﺍﻟﻠﺠﻨـﺔ، ﻭﻋﻠـﻰ ﺇﺧﻄـﺎﺭ الأمين ﺍﻟﻌـﺎﻡ خطياً ﻋﻠـﻰ ﻭﺟﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﺮﻋﺔ ﲟﻮﺍﻓﻘﺘﻬﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺘﻌﺪﻳﻞ.

وفي هذا الصدد، تذكِّر اللجنة بقراري الجمعية العامة 61/148 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006 و63/243 المؤرخ 24 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2008 اللذين طلبت فيهما الجمعية العامة من الدول الأطراف تعجيل إجراءاتها الداخلية المتعلقة بالتصديق على هذه التعديلات وإبلاغ الأمين العام كتابياً في أقرب وقت بموافقتها على هذه التعديلات.
