25. 25 - وتحدثت عن المرحلة التي بلغها تشييد المجمع المتكامل لمقر القيادة في بغداد المتأخر حاليا عن مواعيد إنجازه بسبب مسائل تتصل بأداء المقاول، فقالت إن البعثة حددت مجمعا ملاصقا للمبنى الحالي سيصبح شاغرا في أواسط عام 2011، كبديل محتمل، وهو ما سيسمح بضمه إلى المرافق الحالية في مجمع متكامل يؤويها جميعا.

30. On a separate issue, it is recalled that the General Assembly, in resolution 62/238, requested the Secretary-General to submit a new, complete and detailed proposal for the construction of the United Nations integrated compound in Baghdad, under section 32, Construction, alteration, improvement and major maintenance, of the programme budget.
30 - ومن جهة أخرى، تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الجمعية العامة طلبت من الأمين العام، في القرار 62/238، أن يقدم اقتراحا جديدا وكاملا ومفصلا لبناء مجمع متكامل للأمم المتحدة في بغداد، في إطار الباب 32، أعمال التشييد والتعديلات والتحسينات وأعمال الصيانة الرئيسية، من الميزانية البرنامجية.

A clear course of action for the compound is currently under review and updated detailed comprehensive financial requirements for the construction of the United Nations integrated compound in Baghdad or an alternative option will be submitted to the General Assembly for consideration at the first part of its resumed sixty-fifth session.

The Committee has no objection to the proposed establishment of the position of Senior Project Officer at this time and it expects that the construction of the integrated compound is being properly monitored and will be brought to a successful conclusion.
