The Executive Committee reiterated its support for the role of UNHCR in exploring the development of guiding principles to ensure international protection to all who need it, and called on the Office to organize informal consultations on the subject.

21.8 In order to ensure international protection to all who need it, UNHCR, with the support of Member States, will explore the development of further measures that are consistent with fundamental protection principles reflected in international instruments.
٢١-٨ وبغية ضمان الحماية الدولية لجميع من يحتاجون إليها، ستستكشف المفوضية، بدعم من الدول اﻷعضاء، وضع مزيد من التدابير التي تتمشى مع المبادئ اﻷساسية للحماية التي تعكسها الصكوك الدولية.
