It also recalls its concern at the repealing of the Invalidity Insurance (Self-employed Persons) Act in 2004 by the authorities, resulting in the termination of maternity allowance for self-employed women; the Committee had specifically called upon the State party to reinstate maternity benefits for all women, to include self-employed persons, in line with article 11 (2)(b) of the Convention.
وتستذكر اللجنة أيضا اعرابها عن القلق إزاء قيام السلطات بإلغاء قانون التأمين ضد العجز (الأشخاص العاملون لحسابهم الخاص) في عام 2004، مما ترتب عليه إلغاء بدل الأمومة لفائدة العاملات لحسابهن الخاص؛ وعلى وجه التحديد أهابت اللجنة بالدولة الطرف أن تعيد إقرار استحقاقات الأمومة لكافة النساء، على نحو يشمل العاملات لحسابهن الخاص تماشيا مع أحكام الفقرة الفرعية 2 (ب) من المادة 11 من الاتفاقية().

The report is not clear on the situation of the Invalidity Insurance (Self-employed Persons) Act (WAO), which regulated payment of benefits to self-employed women during pregnancy and maternity leave and adoption leave; on the one hand, the report states that this Act is to be repealed; on the other hand, it talks about a new WAO scheme, into which there was a large influx of women, which was obviously considered a problem in 2003.
