9. Requests States, as a matter of urgency, to make available to the International Tribunal expert personnel, resources and services to aid in the investigation and prosecution of persons accused of having committed serious violations of international humanitarian law;
٩ - تطلب إلى الدول، على سبيل الاستعجال، أن توفر للمحكمة الدولية اﻷفراد الخبراء والموارد والخدمات للمعاونة في إجراء التحقيق ومحاكمة اﻷشخاص المتهمين بارتكاب انتهاكات جسيمة للقانون اﻹنساني الدولي؛

(ii) The Office of the Prosecutor, responsible for the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991, acting independently as a separate organ of the Tribunal;
' 2` مكتب المدعي العام، الذي يتولى مسؤولية التحقيق بشأن الأشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الإنساني الدولي المرتكبة في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة منذ عام 1991 ومحاكمتهم. ويعمل بصفة مستقلة كجهاز منفصل من أجهزة المحكمة؛

38. The Office of the Prosecutor is responsible for the investigation and prosecution of persons falling within the competence of the Mechanism as set out in article 1 of the statute of the Mechanism.
38 - تقع على عاتق مكتب المدعي العام مسؤولية تولي مهام التحقيق مع الأشخاص المشمولين باختصاص الآلية ومتابعتهم قضائياً، على النحو المنصوص عليه في المادة 1 من النظام الأساسي للآلية.

٩ - تطلب من الدول، على سبيل الاستعجال، أن تواصل توفير ما تحتاجه المحكمة من اﻷفراد الخبراء والموارد والخدمات الكافية للمعاونة في إجراء التحقيق ومحاكمة اﻷشخاص المتهمين بارتكاب الانتهاكات الخطيرة للقانون اﻹنساني الدولي؛

31. Notwithstanding the foregoing recommendations, the Commission of Experts observes that States Members of the United Nations may, in accordance with their respective national laws, pursue the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of human rights in East Timor in 1999. Annex II
31 - رغم التوصيات الواردة أعلاه، تلاحظ لجنة الخبراء أنه يجوز للدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة، وفقاً للقوانين الوطنية لكل منها، أن تواصل التحقيق بشأن الأشخاص المسؤولين عن انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوق الإنسان في تيمور الشرقية عام 1999 ومحاكمة هؤلاء الأشخاص.
