7. 27. 18 July 1999 At 1700 hours the Iranian side fired six 8-mm mortar shells from the Iranian post opposite our units at coordinates 558395 in the direction of the earth embankment opposite our units at coordinates 5741.

At 1400 hours a group of persons from the Iranian side were seen erecting barbed wire around the Iranian post in front of the Fakkah guard post at coordinates 514501, inside the area of separation.

At 2230 hours a helicopter came from the Iranian rear to the Iranian post opposite our units at coordinates 9083 (Kut Sawadi). It then returned towards the Iranian rear.

2 January 1994 At 1100 hours, six men armed with rifles and a light grenade launcher were seen at the abandoned Iranian post at geographical coordinates 918959 in front of the Zayd guard post.
