256- لا يُقبل فرض أي قيد أو أي تضييق على أي من حقوق الإنسان الأساسية المعترف بها أو النافذة في أي بلد تطبيقاً لقوانين أو اتفاقيات أو أنظمة أو أعراف، بذريعة كون هذا العهد لا يعترف بها أو كون اعترافه بها أضيق مدى.

2. No restriction upon or derogation from any of the fundamental human rights recognized or existing in any country in virtue of law, conventions, regulations or custom shall be admitted on the pretext that the present Covenant does not recognize such rights or that it recognizes them to a lesser extent.
2- لا يقبل فرض أي قيد أو أي تضييق على أي من حقوق الإنسان الأساسية المعترف بها أو النافذة في أي بلد تطبيقا لقوانين أو اتفاقيات أو أنظمة أو أعراف، بذريعة كون هذا العهد لا يعترف بها أو كون اعترافه بها أضيق مدى.

178. Sudan does not accept, either, to impose any restriction or derogation from any of the human rights recognized or existing in it pursuant to law or regulations on the pretext that the Covenant does not recognize such rights or that it recognizes them to a lesser extent.
178- كما أن السودان، لا يقبل فرض أي قيد أو تضييق على أيٍّ من الحقوق الأساسية المعترف بها أو النافذة فيه تطبيقاً لقوانين أو أنظمة أو أعراف، بذريعة كون هذا العهد لا يعترف بها أو كون اعترافه بها أضيق مدى.
