The revised version of the draft resolution, which would be published shortly, would include a new paragraph after paragraph 11, which would read as follows: " Expresses its appreciation to States that made voluntary contributions to the first session of the Assembly of States Parties, in accordance with paragraph 10 of resolution 56/85 " .

4. In resolution 1997/29 the Commission also expressed its appreciation to States that had provided information on the matter to the Secretary—General and requested those that had not yet done so to provide information on legislation already adopted, as well as that in the process of being adopted, relating to the right to restitution, compensation and rehabilitation for victims of grave violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
