236. At its fortyfifth session the SubCommission, in resolution 1993/34, endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the preliminary report (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1993/17 and Corr.1). It expressed its regret that Mr. Hatano was unable to be further involved in the work on this subject as one of the Special Rapporteurs and requested Mr. AlKhasawneh, as Special Rapporteur, to continue the study.
