فعلى اسرائيــل أن تنفذ كافــــة التزاماتها بموجب اتفاق إعلان المبــادئ واتفـــاق القاهــــرة والاتفاقات اللاحقة لها، وعلى الدولتين الراعيتيــن، وخاصة الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية مواصلة مساعيها الحميدة لاستكمال عملية السلام في فلسطين، وعلــى اﻷمم المتحدة مواصلة جهودها الى أن يتحقق للشعب الفلسطيني أملـــه المنشـود فــي قيام دولته المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف.

On this occasion, Egypt calls on all donor countries to fulfil their pledges of assistance to the Palestinian people as it strives, at this critical stage, to build its independent State. Such assistance will certainly contribute to the evolution of the peace process to its ultimate conclusion: the achievement of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region, hopefully in the not-too-distant future.
واتصالا بذلك فإن وفد مصر يدعو كافة الدول المانحة إلى الالتزام بتعهداتها في مجال تقديم المساعدات إلى الشعب الفلسطيني، وهو يسعى جاهدا إلى بناء دولته المستقلة في هذه المرحلة الدقيقة بما يساهم في وصول عملية السلام إلى الغاية المأمولة المتمثلة في إقامة سلام عادل وشامل في المنطقة في غد نأمل جميعا أن يكون قريبا.

In this respect, we believe that there is an urgent need to intensify cooperation and coordination between the United Nations and the League of Arab States in order to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East that will guarantee to the Palestinian people all their legitimate national rights, foremost among which is its inalienable right to establish its independent State.
وفي هذا الصدد نلاحظ أن ثمة حاجة ماسة إلى تكثيف التنسيق والتعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والجامعة العربية سعيا إلى تحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل والدائم في منطقة الشرق اﻷوسط، بما يضمن للشعب الفلسطيني كافــة حقوقــه الوطنيــة المشروعـة، وفي مقدمتها حقه الثابت والطبيعـــي في تقريـــر مصيره وإقامـــة دولته المستقلة.
