Until mid-September 2006, the Centre continued to provide substantive support to the five Central Asian States in connection with the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in Central Asia and to Mongolia in taking the necessary measures to consolidate and strengthen its international security and nuclear-weapon-free status.
