In extending the UNAMID mandate until 31 July 2011, the resolution also requests UNAMID and the United Nations country team to develop a comprehensive strategy for making full use of its mandate and capabilities to achieve certain specified objectives, including the protection of civilians across Darfur and ensuring safe humanitarian access, and the promotion of the sustained engagement of all Darfurian stakeholders in the political process.
