3. In applying for termination of its membership in the Fund, ICITO had specified two conditions: the termination had to be approved by its staff, and it had to be satisfied with the transfer amount.
٣ - وقد قامت اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة الدولية/ مجموعة " غات " لدى تقديم طلبها ﻹنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق بتحديد شرطين: موافقة موظفيها على اﻹنهاء، وارتياحها للمبلغ المحول.

Decide also to authorize the Director-General to inform the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund that ICITO wishes to apply for termination of its membership in the Fund on 31 December 1998, subject to the conclusion of satisfactory transfer arrangements with the Fund,
يقرران أيضا تفويض المدير العام بإعلام الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة بأن اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمــة التجــارة العالميــة ترغب في تقديــم طلب ﻹنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق في ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨، رهنا بالاتفاق مع الصندوق على ترتيبات نقل مرضية؛

The Fund also determined (again taking into account the views of the international community) that there were five successor countries to the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, all of which were eligible to succeed to its membership in the Fund.
كما استنتج الصندوق (مراعيا مرة أخرى آراء المجتمع الدولي) أن ثمة خمسة بلدان خلفا لجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية الاشتراكية، يحق لها كلها أن تخلفها في عضويتها في الصندوق().

Takes note also of the review of the size and composition of the Board and the Standing Committee and, in particular, the provisional allocation of the seat vacated by the former Interim Commission for the International Trade Organization effected upon the termination of its membership in the Fund as at 31 December 1998, as described in paragraphs 241 to 252 of the report of the Board;2
2 - تحيط علما أيضا باستعراض حجم وتكوين المجلس واللجنة الدائمة، ولا سيما التخصيص المؤقت للمقعد الذي أخلته اللجنة المؤقتة السابقة لمنظمة التجارة الدولية عند انتهاء عضويتها في الصندوق في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1998، على النحو الوارد في الفقرات 241 إلى 252 من تقرير المجلس(2)؛

In that decision, the Director-General of WTO was authorized " to inform the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund that ICITO wishes to apply for termination of its membership in the Fund on 31 December 1998, subject to the conclusion of satisfactory transfer arrangements with the Fund " .
وقد فوض المدير العام لمنظمة التجارة العالمية بموجب ذلك القرار " أن يبلغ الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة برغبة اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة الدولية في تقديم طلب ﻹنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق اعتبارا من ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨، رهنا بالاتفاق مع الصندوق على ترتيبات نقل مرضية " .

The ICITO/GATT Staff Pension Committee noted the views of the Fund's Consulting Actuary and the Committee of Actuaries, and reserved its position, until the eventual special session, on the determination of the methodology to determine the proportionate share of the Fund's assets to be remitted to ICITO/GATT in the event of termination of its membership in the Fund.
٣٥٥ - ولاحظت لجنة المعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة العالمية/ مجموعة " غات " آراء الخبير الاستشاري الاكتواري للصندوق ولجنة الاكتواريين، واحتفظت لحين الدورة الاستثنائية المراد عقدها بموقفها بشأن وضع منهجية لتحديد الحصة النسبية من أصول الصندوق التي يتعين إعادتها إلى اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة العالمية/ مجموعة " غات " في حالة إنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق.
