INSTRAW continued its research activities on gender, migration, remittances and development aimed at achieving a better understanding of how gender dimensions (feminization of migration, gender inequalities in access to productive resources, sexual division of labour, gender roles, etc.) affect and determine the interconnectedness of migration and development, utilizing remittances as the key link in that regard.
