Under the resolution, the Assembly, inter alia, recalled Security Council resolution 1495 (2003), in which the Council expressed its support of the peace plan for self-determination of the people of Western Sahara as an optimum political solution on the basis of agreement between the two parties, and resolutions 1541 (2004), 1570 (2004), 1598 (2005), 1634 (2005) and 1675 (2006).
وبموجب أحكام القرار، ذكّرت الجمعية، في جملة أمور، بقرار مجلس الأمن 1495 (2003) الذي أعرب فيه المجلس عن تأييده لخطة السلام من أجل تقرير شعب الصحراء الغربية مصيره باعتبارها حلا سياسيا أمثل يقوم على اتفاق الطرفين، وبالقرارات 1541 (2004) و 1570 (2004) و 1598 (2005) و 1634 (2005) و 1675 (2006).

By the terms of the resolution, the Assembly underscored Security Council resolution 1495 (2003), in which the Council expressed its support of the peace plan for self-determination of the people of Western Sahara as the optimum political solution on the basis of agreement between the two parties.
وبموجب أحكام القرار شددت الجمعية على قرار مجلس الأمن 1495 (2003) الذي أعرب فيه المجلس عن تأييده لخطة السلام من أجل تقرير شعب الصحراء الغربية مصيره باعتبارها الحل السياسي الأمثل القائم على اتفاق الطرفين.
