٣٥ - واختتم قائلا إن أعضاء اللجنة لن يفوتهم أن يلاحظوا اﻹشادة المشجعة التي وردت في حق اللجنة على لسان ممثل لمحكمة العدل الدولية، حيث وصف نصوصها بأنها مصادر لها حجية راجحة.

69. Enlargement of the Commission's membership was urgent and should be decided during the current session, for the Commission would then be more representative and reflective of various legal traditions and economic systems and its texts would be acceptable to all States.

39 - وذكرت أنه ينبغي للأونسترال أن تحاول كفالة ابتعاد نصوصها عن الإطناب؛ وهذا يقتضي تحريرها بلغة تتسم بالإيجاز والوضوح وسهولة القراءة.

UNCTAD delivered technical cooperation in the area of trade facilitation, but its advisory services did not always cover UNCITRAL texts. UNCITRAL therefore wanted to work more closely with UNCTAD in order to integrate its texts into UNCTAD activities.
