If the Committee deems it necessary to include in its inquiry a visit of one or more of its members to the territory of the State party concerned, it shall request, through the SecretaryGeneral, the agreement of that State party and shall inform the State party of its wishes regarding the timing of the mission and the facilities required to allow the designated members of the Committee to carry out their task.

2. In order to assist it in fulfilling the tasks entrusted to it pursuant to article 40 of the Covenant, the Committee has decided that it would be useful to inform States parties of its wishes regarding the form and contents of reports.
٢ - وقررت اللجنة، بغية مساعدتها في الوفاء بالمهام المعهود بها إليها عملا بالمادة ٠٤ من العهد، أن من المفيد إبلاغ الدول اﻷطراف برغباتها فيما يتعلق بشكل ومضمون التقارير.
