وتكلم الدكتور جبّور كذلك عن الخطر الجديد الذي تمثله الكراهية الدينية وكراهية الإسلام التي أكد على أنها أصبحت جليةً في عالم اليوم كما تتجلى في وضع السجناء المسلمين في خليج غوانتانامو.

Mr. Jabbour urged the League of Arab States, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, as well as Arab cultural and educational organizations to commemorate this important event as well.
وحث السيد جبّور جامعة الدول العربية ومنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي وكذلك المنظمات العربية المعنية بالثقافة والتربية على الاحتفال كذلك بهذا الحدث.

Mr. Jabbour stated that, around the world, there was a tendency for people of African origin (who were usually poor as well) to be disproportionately penalized regardless of the legal system.
وقال السيد جبور إن السكان المنحدرين من أصل أفريقي في أرجاء العالم (وهم أيضا فقراء في أغلب الأحيان) يُعاقَبون عادة أكثر من غيرهم، بغض النظر عن النظام القانوني.

Mr. Jabbour commented that it might be useful to look into the matter of a consolidated report by the Commission on Human Rights on people of African descent.

98- قدم الدكتور جورج جبّور ورقة تناول فيها ما سُجِّل من تحسن وتحديات رئيسية ومظاهر جديدة فيما يخص العنصرية والتمييز العنصري والتعصب منذ انعقاد المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية.

100- ولقيت كلمة الدكتور جبّور قبولاً واسعاً ووافق عدة مراقبين على اقتراحاته فيما يخص التوعية بمكافحة العنصرية ومسألة التعويضات.

101. An observer who chose to elaborate on Dr. Jabbour's analysis of Islamophobia emphasized the importance of encouraging an historical reconciliation between Islam and the West.
101- وشدد مراقب اختار التوسع في التحليل الذي قدمه الدكتور جبّور لمسألة كراهية الإسلام على أهمية تشجيع التوصل إلى مصالحة تاريخية بين الإسلام والغرب.
