1. The judges of the Mechanism shall be elected by the General Assembly from a list submitted by the Security Council, in the following manner:

The President 1. After consultation with the President of the Security Council and the judges of the Mechanism, the SecretaryGeneral shall appoint a fulltime President from among the judges of the Mechanism.
1 - يقوم الأمين العام، بعد التشاور مع رئيس مجلس الأمن وقضاة الآلية، بتعيين رئيس متفرغ من بين قضاة الآلية.

2. Amendments of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence may be decided remotely by the judges of the Mechanism by written procedure.
2 - يجوز أن يبت قضاة الآلية من بعيد في تعديلات القواعد الإجرائية وقواعد الإثبات عن طريق إجراء خطي.

From that list the General Assembly shall elect 25 judges of the Mechanism.
وتنتخب الجمعية العامة من تلك القائمة 25 قاضيا للآلية.

2. The Security Council also requested, in the same resolution, the Secretary-General to initiate no later than 30 June 2011 the procedures for the selection of the roster of judges of the Mechanism, as provided in the statute of the Mechanism, which is contained in annex I to Security Council resolution 1966 (2010).
2 - وفي القرار نفسه، طلب مجلس الأمن أيضا إلى الأمين العام أن يشرع في تاريخ لا يتعدى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2011 في إجراءات انتقاء قائمة القضاة الذين سيعملون في الآلية حسب ما هو منصوص عليه في نظامها الأساسي الوارد في المرفق الأول من قرار مجلس الأمن 1966 (2010).
