This Mission represents the conscience of the international community in Haiti. It has told us of the abuse meted out against the Haitian people and of the determination of that people to create a legitimate State, a society where justice and integrity might prevail - in short, of the refusal to legitimize the coup d'état and of the people's determination to restore constitutional order in Haiti.
فالبعثة تمثﱢل ضمير المجتمع الدولي في هايتي، وهي تكشف عن إساءة المعاملة التي يتعرض لها الشعب الهايتي وتصميم هذا الشعب على ايجاد دولة شرعية ومجتمع يمكن أن تسوده العدالة والنزاهة. وباختصار تكشف عن رفض إضفاء الطابع الشرعي على الانقلاب، وعن تصميم الشعب على إحلال النظام الدستوري في هايتي.

The funds have largely been raised for the subprogrammes of the UNODC regional programme on combating organized crime, illicit trafficking and terrorism (approximately $22 million) and on building justice and integrity (approximately $7 million).
وحُشد القسط الكبير من الأموال للبرامج الفرعية التي ينفذها البرنامج الإقليمي التابع للمكتب في مجال مكافحة الجريمة المنظَّمة والاتِّجار غير المشروع والإرهاب (حوالي 22 مليون دولار) وبناء نظم العدالة والنزاهة (حوالي 7 ملايين من الدولارات).

Addressing illicit drug trafficking and associated organized crime is a core objective of the current UNODC regional programme for West Africa, in particular its subprogramme on combating organized crime, illicit trafficking and terrorism, and its subprogramme on building justice and integrity, which places emphasis on supporting the promotion of international cooperation in criminal matters.

Together with the Human Rights Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the justice and integrity Unit of UNODC, the Branch also organized a national workshop on the role of the judiciary in the protection of human rights in criminal justice, including counter-terrorism, in Amman from 21 to 25 July.
كما نظَّم الفرع، بالمشاركة مع مكتب حقوق الإنسان التابع لبعثة الأمم المتحدة لتقديم المساعدة للعراق ووحدة العدالة والنزاهة التابعة لمكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، حلقة عمل وطنية بشأن دور الهيئة القضائية في حماية حقوق الإنسان في سياق العدالة الجنائية، بما في ذلك مكافحة الإرهاب، وذلك في عمّان من 21 إلى 25 تموز/يوليه.
