(أ) ازدياد عدد أطفال الشوارع وعدم ملاءمة السياسات والبرامج التي تنفذها دوائر خدمات شؤون الأحداث لتدارك هذا الوضع؛

Promote the establishment of civil-society institutions concerned with juvenile affairs and take an interest in their published reports on the subject
تشجيع إنشاء مؤسسات المجتمع المدني المهتمة بشؤون الأحداث والاهتمام بما تنشره من تقارير في هذا المجال؛

Setting up a system of commissions on juvenile affairs which deal with children in difficulty; 246 such commissions, composed of more than 3,000 qualified specialists, are in operation around the country;

74. The organization of efforts aimed at preventing child labour and prohibiting and eliminating its worst forms is periodically discussed at meetings of the Commission on juvenile affairs attached to the Cabinet of Ministers.
74- ويُناقَش دورياً في اجتماعات لجنة شؤون الأحداث التابعة لمجلس الوزراء تنظيم الجهود الرامية إلى منع عمل الأطفال وحظر أسوأ أشكاله والقضاء عليها.

It is anticipated that improvements will be introduced into the administration of the juvenile justice system under the juvenile law bill. This bill requires that a competent judicial tribunal deal with juvenile affairs subject to a system of special proceedings and in accordance with the provisions of article 40 of the Convention.
222- ومن المنتظر كما سبق بيانه في الفصل الأول من هذا التقرير، إدخال تحسينات على سير نظام قضاء الأحداث وذلك بمقتضى مشروع قانون الأحداث بما يكفل قيام هيئة قضائية مختصة بالفصل في شؤون الأحداث وفق نظام إجراءات خاصة وطبقا لمقتضيات المادة 40 من الاتفاقية.

(أ) ازدياد عدد أطفال الشوارع والسياسات والبرامج غير المقبولة التي تنفذها الدوائر المسؤولة عن شؤون الأحداث لمعالجة هذه الحالة؛

(d) Consider addressing the situation of street children within the system of youth social welfare services rather than juvenile affairs services.
(د) أن تنظر في معالجة حالة أطفال الشوارع في إطار نظام خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية للشباب بدلاً من أن تُسند هذه المهمة إلى خدمات شؤون الأحداث.

135. Over the period of 20032005, juvenile affairs inspections identified and placed on record 1,288 troubled families; 129 documents were sent to the court for deprivation of parental rights, and 7,922 documents were sent to the juvenile affairs commission.
135 - وخلال الفترة 2003-2005، كان من نتيجة التفتيش على شؤون الأحداث تحديد 288 1 أسرة تعاني من تلك المشاكل وتقييدها في السجلات، وأرسلت 129 وثيقة إلى المحاكم بغية التجريد من حقوق الوالدية، كما أرسلت 922 7 وثيقة إلى لجنة شؤون الأحداث.

343. These measures include the creation of juvenile courts, the training of judges and court staff in juvenile justice, and the setting up of a juvenile affairs unit at the High Court to review sentences handed down by juvenile courts and appeals decisions, and to provide these courts with social and psychological expertise.
344- هذه التدابير تتمثل في إنشاء محاكم متخصصة للأحداث، وتدريب القضاة العاملين في مجال عدالة الأحداث، وتكوين دائرة متخصصة في شؤون الأحداث في المحكمة القومية العليا لمراجعة الأحكام والاستئنافات الخاصة بالأحداث وتزويد المحاكم بكوادر خدمة اجتماعية ونفسية.

33. In Bahrain, the judge responsible for deciding juvenile cases must be a specialist with adequate sociological and humanitarian training and must be familiarized with approaches for dealing with children and juveniles and with the problems of such young people, and the court responsible for juvenile affairs must include social workers in its composition and should preferably include women.
33- وفي البحرين، يشترط أن يكون القاضي المسؤول عن الفصل في قضايا الأحداث متخصصا ممّن تلقوا تدريبا مناسبا في الشؤون الاجتماعية والإنسانية، ويجب أن يكون مُلِمّا بنُهُج التعامل مع الأطفال والأحداث وبالمشاكل التي تصادف هؤلاء الشباب، ويجب أن تضم المحكمة المسؤولة عن شؤون الأحداث في عضويتها مرشدين اجتماعيين ويُفضل أن تضم نساء.

The gradual formation of special juvenile courts: the creation of a pilot juvenile court in the city of Tashkent and in other areas, boards for juvenile affairs in regional courts etc;
إنشاء محاكم خاصة بالأحداث تدريجياً: إنشاء محكمة للأحداث رائدة في مدينة طشقند وأنحاء أخرى، وإنشاء مجالس تُعنى بشؤون الأحداث في المحاكم الإقليمية وغير ذلك من التدابير؛

(k) The court is attended solely by the relatives of the accused and by representatives of the judiciary and of charitable associations concerned with juvenile affairs;
(ك) الحضور في المحكمة هو لأقارب المتهم ومندوبي الجمعيات الخيرية المهتمة بشؤون الأحداث وأمانة العدل فقط؛

Hearings against minors are attended by the parents and other relatives of the child as well as by representatives of the Secretariat for Justice and of charitable associations concerned with juvenile affairs.
315- ويحضر جلسة محاكمة الطفل أقاربه من والديه وغيرهم إضافة إلى مندوبي أمانة العدل والجمعيات الخيرية المشتغلة بشؤون الأحداث.

(a) Organize the work related to juvenile affairs that are concerned with their respective Law.
(أ) تنظيم العمل فيما يتعلق بشؤون الأحداث المعنيين بالقانون الخاص بهم؛

(d) Consider addressing the situation of street children within the system of youth social welfare services rather than juvenile affairs services.
(د) أن تنظر في معالجة حالة أطفال الشوارع في إطار نظام خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية المقدمة للشباب وليس عن طريق الدوائر المختصة بشؤون الأحداث.

32. Oman had adopted, by its decree 30/2008, measures relating to the prevention of juvenile offences, special courts, a juvenile affairs office and the specialization of police units, social workers and prosecutors who questioned child victims and witnesses.
32- واعتمدت عُمان بموجب مرسومها 30/2008، تدابير تتعلق بمنع جرائم الأحداث وإنشاء محاكم خاصة ومكتب لشؤون الأحداث ووحدات شرطة متخصصة وتعيين مرشدين اجتماعيين وأعضاء من النيابة العامة متخصصين في استجواب الضحايا والشهود من الأطفال.
