The Convention calls for rural women's equitable access to adequate health-care facilities, social security programmes, formal and non-formal education and training, including functional literacy and extension services, agricultural credit and loans, marketing facilities and equal treatment in land and agrarian reform, as well as in land resettlement schemes.
وتدعو الاتفاقية إلى توفير فرص حصول النساء الريفيات على قدم المساواة على تسهيلات الرعاية الصحية الملائمة، وبرامج الضمان الاجتماعي، والتعليم والتدريب على الصعيدين الرسمي وغير الرسمي، بما في ذلك الحصول على خدمات محو الأمية الوظيفية والخدمات الإرشادية، والائتمانات والقروض الزراعية، والتسهيلات السوقية، والمساواة في المعاملة في مشاريع إصلاح الأراضي والإصلاح الزراعي، وكذلك في مشاريع التوطين الريفي.

Article 14, paragraph 2 (g), of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women guarantees the right of women to equal treatment in land and agrarian reform as well as in land resettlement schemes. However, there remain laws and social customs such as those ensuring that the land of a deceased husband belongs to his sons, not to his widow, despite the flagrant violation of women's rights to which this leads.
فالفقرة 2 (ز) من المادة 14 من اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة تضمن حق المرأة في المساواة في المعاملة في مجال إصلاح الأراضي والإصلاح الزراعي وكذلك في مشاريع التوطين الريفي بيد أنه لا تزال توجد قوانين وأعراف اجتماعية، كالقوانين والأعراف التي تنص على أن الأرض التي يملكها الزوج المتوفى تؤول إلى أبنائه وليس إلى أرملته رغم الانتهاك الفاضح لحقوق المرأة الناجم عن ذلك.

The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women guarantees equality of treatment between women and men in a range of areas; it has a specific provision on women in rural areas, guaranteeing the rights of women to equal treatment, in particular, in land and agrarian reform as well as in land resettlement schemes (art. 14).
وتكفل الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة المساواة في المعاملة بين المرأة والرجل في طائفة من المجالات؛ وتتضمّن الاتفاقية نصاً محدَّداً بشأن المرأة في المناطق الريفية يضمن حقوق المرأة في المساواة في المعاملة، وبوجه خاص في مشاريع إصلاح الأراضي والإصلاح الزراعي، وكذلك في مشاريع التوطين الريفي (المادة 14).
