The Rapporteur noted that it was unlikely that the State party would change its view of this decision and informed Mr. Lazarev that in such circumstances where a State party provides cogent arguments against the Committee's findings the latter while regretting its position and considering the dialogue ongoing will pursue the matter less vigorously.
