وتؤكد النشرة من جديد أن الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي يمثلان خرقاً للقواعد والمعايير القانونية الدولية المتعارف عليها عالمياً، وشكلان على الدوام سلوكاً محظوراً بالنسبة لموظفي الأمم المتحدة.

3.1 Sexual exploitation and sexual abuse violate universally recognized international legal norms and standards and have always been unacceptable behaviour and prohibited conduct for United Nations staff. Such conduct is prohibited by the United Nations Staff Regulations and Rules.
3-1 يشكل الاستغلال الجنسي والانتهاك الجنسي انتهاكا للقواعد والمعايير القانونية الدولية المعترف بها عالميا، وقد اعتبرا دوما تصرفا غير مقبول أن يأتيه موظفو الأمم المتحدة وسلوكا منهيا عنه فالنظامان الإداري والأساسي لموظفي الأمم المتحدة ينهيان عن هذا السلوك.

14. With regard to the Fact-Finding Mission to establish the facts surrounding the allegations of the use of toxic chemicals, reportedly chlorine, for hostile purposes in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Council at its Seventy-Sixth Session underlined that the use of chemical weapons by anyone under any circumstances would be reprehensible and completely contrary to the legal norms and standards of the international community.
14 - وفي ما يتعلق ببعثة تقصي الحقائق للوقوف على الحقائق التي تكتنف ادعاءات استخدام مواد كيميائية سامة، أوردت التقارير أنها مادة الكلور، لأغراض عدائية في الجمهورية العربية السورية، أكّد المجلس خلال دورته السادسة والسبعين على أن إقدام أي كان على استخدام الأسلحة الكيميائية تحت أي ظرف من الظروف سيكون أمرا مستنكرا ومنافيا تماما للقواعد والمعايير القانونية للمجتمع الدولي.

In that regard, the General Assembly, in its resolution 63/183, recognized the need for the collection, protection and management of data on missing persons according to international and national legal norms and standards, and urged States to cooperate with each other and with other concerned actors working in that area, inter alia, by providing all relevant and appropriate information related to missing persons.
وفي هذا الصدد، سلّمت الجمعية العامة في القرار 63/183 بالحاجة إلى جمع البيانات عن الأشخاص المفقودين وحمايتها وإدارتها وفقا للقواعد والمعايير القانونية الدولية والوطنية، وحثت الدول على التعاون مع بعضها البعض ومع الجهات الفاعلة المعنية الأخرى العاملة في هذا المجال، بسبل منها تقديم كل المعلومات المناسبة ذات الصلة بالأشخاص المفقودين.

62. The Special Rapporteur notes that, although the list of standards mentioned above is not exhaustive, it provides for several examples of legal norms and standards that do exist on the right to information both at the international and regional levels.
62- يلاحظ المقرر الخاص أنه بالرغم من أن قائمة المعايير المذكورة أعلاه ليست شاملة، فإنها تورد عدة أمثلة على وجود قواعد ومعايير قانونية بالفعل بشأن الحق في الحصول على المعلومات على المستويين الدولي والوطني.
