At its fifty-seventh session, the Commission on Human Rights decided, in its resolution 2001/46 of 23 April 2001, to establish an intersessional open-ended working group charged with elaborating a draft legally binding normative instrument for the protection of all persons from enforced disappearance.
1- قررت لجنة حقوق الإنسان، في دورتها السابعة والخمسين، في قرارها 2001/46 المؤرخ 23 نيسان/أبريل 2001، إنشاء فريق عامل بين الدورات، مفتوح العضوية، تتمثل ولايته في وضع مشروع صك معياري ملزم قانوناً لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري.

The Group recommended a number of preventive measures, including with regard to children, and it recommended that the Commission finalize the drafting of a legally binding normative instrument for protection from enforced disappearance.
