That Committee, at its sixth and seventh sessions, had considered the adoption of decision guidance documents for the six chemicals in question, namely binapacryl, bromacil, ethylene dichloride, ethylene oxide, maleic hydrazide and toxaphene, and had resolved the issues raised in relation to all of them except for those relating to maleic hydrazide, which it had referred to the Interim Chemical Review Committee.
وقد نظرت تلك اللجنة، في دورتيها السادسة والسابعة، في اعتماد المقرر المتعلق بوثائق توجيه القرار لست مواد كيميائية معينة هي البيناباكريل والبروماسيل وثاني كلوريد الإثيلين وأوكسيد الإثيلين وهيدرازيد المالئيك والتوكسافين، وحلت المسائل التي أثيرت بالنسبة لجميعها باستثناء تلك المتصلة بهيدرازيد المالئيك التي أحالتها إلى اللجنة المؤقتة لاستعراض المواد الكيميائية.

It had also received information from CropLife International attesting to progress in developing the analytical methodology for the potassium salt of maleic hydrazide and indicating that work in that area should be completed by mid-2004.
كما تلقت معلومات من المنظمة الدولية لحياة المحاصيل تؤكد فيها إحراز تقدم في تطوير منهجية تحليلية مناسبة لملح صوديوم هيدرازيد المالئيك وتبين فيها وجوب إكمال العمل في ذلك المجال بحلول منتصف عام 2004.

The representative of Japan informed the Committee that the production and use of the choline salt of maleic hydrazide in question had been voluntarily cancelled by the company.

10. Requests the Interim Chemical Review Committee to follow progress made with regard to the preparation of specifications of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for the potassium salt of maleic hydrazide and report to the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee at its ninth session.
10 - تطلب إلى اللجنة المؤقتة لاستعراض المواد الكيميائية أن تتابع التقدم المحرز فيما يتعلق بإعداد منظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة لمواصفات ملح البوتاسيوم المشكّل من هيدرازيد المالئيك وأن تقدم تقريراً عن ذلك إلى لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية في دورتها التاسعة.

The representative of the Republic of Korea informed the Committee that the potassium salt and choline salt of maleic hydrazide with a content of free hydrazine above 1 ppm would be prohibited by the end of 2003.
74 - أحاط ممثل جمهورية كوريا اللجنة علما بأنه سيتم بنهاية عام 2003 حظر ملح صوديوم وملح كولين هيدرازيد المالئيك بمحتوى يزيد على جزء من المليون من الهيدرازيد الحر.

Noting that, on the basis of the respective declarations by Japan and the Republic of Korea, the production or trade of choline salt of maleic hydrazide with a content of free hydrazine above 1 ppm should no longer exist, the secretariat requested Governments to notify the secretariat immediately should that status quo change.
وعلى ضوء إعلان كل من اليابان وجمهورية كوريا بأنه يجب التوقف عن إنتاج أو الإتجار في ملح كولين هيدرازيد المالئيك الذي يحتوي على الهيدرازيد الحر بنسبة تزيد على جزء من المليون، طلبت الأمانة إلى الحكومتين إخطار الأمانة في الحال بأي تغيير يطرأ على هذا الوضع الراهن.

The Chair of the Interim Chemical Review Committee clarified that all that was required was a simple statement that certain manufacturers in a given country were producing maleic hydrazide, to a certain specification, together with clarification of whether the maleic hydrazide was, or was not, in international trade.
44 - وأوضح رئيس اللجنة المؤقتة لاستعراض المواد الكيميائية إن كل ما هو مطلوب عبارة عن بيان بأن منتجين معينين في بلد ما ينتجون هيدرازيد المالئيك، وفقاً لمواصفات معينة، إلى جانب إيضاح بشأن ما إذا كان هيدرازيد المالئيك متداولاً أو غير متداول في التجارة الدولية.

Requested the Interim Chemical Review Committee to report on the status of implementation of decision INC-8/3 concerning maleic hydrazide to the tenth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee.
