In that regard, it is important to respect the mandate of the Human Rights Council and to refrain from submitting country-specific recommendations to the Third Committee, particularly since those decisions target only developing countries and hinder our efforts to reach consensus-based cooperative solutions, which can help to build respect for human rights around the world.
في هذا الإطار يتعين احترام اختصاصات مجلس حقوق الإنسان بالامتناع عن طرح قرارات في اللجنة الثالثة تستهدف دولاً بعينها، خاصة وأن جميع هذه القرارات توجه ضد الدول النامية فقط، وتحد من فرص التوصل لحلول توافقية وتعاونية تسهم في تعزيز احترام حقوق الإنسان في العالم.

He called for the practice of presenting country-specific resolutions to be discontinued, as human rights-related resolutions fell under the mandate of the Human Rights Council.
ودعا إلى وقف ممارسة تقديم قرارات تستهدف بلداناً معيّنة، نظراً لأن القرارات ذات الصلة بحقوق الإنسان تندرج تحت ولاية مجلس حقوق الإنسان.

In addition, the Code of Conduct directed mandate holders to exercise their functions in strict observance of their mandate and, in particular, to ensure that their recommendations did not exceed it, or the mandate of the Human Rights Council itself.

وفي هذا الإطار يتعين احترام اختصاصات مجلس حقوق الإنسان من خلال الامتناع عن طرح قرارات في اللجنة الثالثة تستهدف دولا بعينها، خاصة وأن جميع هذه القرارات توجه ضد الدول النامية فقط، وتحد من فرص التوصل إلى حلول توافقية تسهم في تعزيز احترام حقوق الإنسان بها في إطار من التعاون البناء والموضوعي بين الدول النامية والدول المتقدمة النمو.
