Recognizing that it is desirable to enhance the promotional and public information activities of the United Nations in matters relating to freedom of religion or belief and that both Governments and non-governmental organizations have an important role to play in this domain,
وإذ تدرك أن من المستصوب النهوض بأنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة الترويجية والاعلامية في المسائل المتصلة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد، وأن للحكومات والمنظمات غير الحكومية على السواء دورا هاما تؤديه في هذا المضمار،

Recognizing that it is desirable to enhance the promotional and public information activities of the United Nations in matters relating to freedom of religion or belief and that both Governments and non-governmental organizations have an important role to play in this domain,
وإذ تدرك أن من المستصوب النهوض بأنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة الترويجية واﻹعلامية في المسائل المتصلة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد، وأن للحكومات والمنظمات غير الحكومية على السواء دورا هاما تؤديه في هذا المضمار،

It urges States to promote, through the educational system and other means, mutual understanding, tolerance, non-discrimination and respect in all matters relating to freedom of religion or belief by encouraging a wider knowledge of the history, traditions, languages and cultures of religious minorities.
ويحث القرار الدول على تعزيز التفاهم المشترك، والتسامح، وعدم التمييز والاحترام في جميع المسائل المتعلقة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد، من خلال النظام التعليمي ووسائل أخرى، وذلك بتشجيع توسيع نطاق المعرفة بالتاريخ والتقاليد واللغات والثقافات للأقليات الدينية.

(b) Promoting and encouraging, through education and other means, understanding, tolerance and respect in all matters relating to freedom of religion or belief;

(l) To promote, through education and other means, mutual understanding, tolerance, non-discrimination and respect in all matters relating to freedom of religion or belief by encouraging, in society at large, a wider knowledge of the diversity of religions and beliefs and of the history, traditions, languages and cultures of the various religious minorities existing within their jurisdiction;

8. Considers it desirable to enhance the promotional and public information activities of the United Nations in matters relating to freedom of religion or belief and to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to this end in the World Public Information Campaign for Human Rights;
٨ - ترى أن من المستصوب تعزيز أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة الترويجية والاعلامية في المسائل المتصلة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد، وضمان أن تتخذ تدابير مناسبة لهذا الغرض في الحملة اﻹعلامية العالمية لحقوق الانسان؛

8. Considers it desirable to enhance the promotional and public information activities of the United Nations in matters relating to freedom of religion or belief and to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to this end in the World Public Information Campaign for Human Rights;
٨ - ترى أن من المستصوب تعزيز أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة الترويجية والاعلامية في المسائل المتصلة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد، وضمان أن تتخذ تدابير مناسبة لهذا الغرض في الحملة اﻹعلامية العالمية لحقوق اﻹنسان؛

7. Urges all States, therefore, to take all appropriate measures to combat hatred, intolerance and acts of violence, including those motivated by religious extremism, and to encourage understanding, tolerance and respect in matters relating to freedom of religion or belief;
٧ ـ تحث جميع الدول، بالتالي، على أن تتخذ جميع التدابير المناسبة لمكافحة الكراهية والتعصب وأعمال العنف، بما فيها اﻷعمال النابعة من التطرف الديني، ولتشجيع التفاهم والتسامح والاحترام في المسائل المتصلة بحرية الدين أو المعتقد؛
